Each month, one member of the Culture Corps is recognized as a Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts of living our Values and helping our teams, customers and communities grow beyond what we believe is possible. These Culture Champions receive the 鈥淲alkie-Talkie Award鈥 for their commitment to walking the talk and living our our Values every day.

Rob has been with our teams for more than fifteen years, and he is an excellent example of our values in action. Rob鈥檚 nominator said that his dedication to CNR and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 is 鈥渢ruly impressive鈥 as he values collaboration, is willing to engage in healthy conflict, and holds himself and others accountable to deadlines and commitments. Rob鈥檚 approach to challenges, dedication to learning new skills and stretching his technical knowledge are perfect examples of rising to the challenge and questioning the status quo.
Crystal was nominated by her coworker, Diana St. Romain, who said, 鈥淚 couldn't think of a better person to recognize for her eleven-year commitment to the company and constant dedication to making sure customers and freight companies are satisfied.鈥 We are excited to recognize the hard work you do, the positive attitude you keep, and your willingness to go out of the way to help others in need.
Calvin was nominated by Donald Lachney and Todd Jennings who said Calvin is a hard worker and adapts easily when challenges arise. With 32 years of welding experience and 6 years as a certified welding inspector, Calvin has been instrumental in making sure optimal meets their zero percent weld reject rate, zero percent re-work, and one-hundred percent leak free start-ups by using his leadership skills to coach and mentor other quality control and field personnel.
Andrew had multiple nominators who shared how he is a reliable team player, hardworking, and eager to help when challenges arise. Andrew is passionately helping to build the culture at packages, celebrating others for the work they do, and volunteering for events in the community. He embodies our values of winning together and rising to the challenge, and DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations values of be who you are and give.
51黑料爆料网历史事件 is pleased to announce we have TWO Culture Champions for the month of March, Keith Henry and David Harrington from the Proposal Team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. These two created a brand-new procedure within the proposal development process and its impact is ringing loud and clear. Congratulations to Keith and David!
Robert is a great example of our values in action! As St. Jude鈥檚 Heroes, he and his son Landon raise funds for the children鈥檚 cancer research center and the families receiving treatment there in honor of his late wife, Monica, who passed away from cancer. Robert champions the phrase 鈥渞ise to the challenge,鈥 and he focuses on building lasting relationships and supporting his team to make sure we can all win together both in the community and across the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family.
Julie鈥檚 nominators share that she is an incredible asset to the Packages team, not just for the work she does to support the various projects for customers, but for also making the culture at packages inclusive, fun and welcoming. Renee Harwell shares that Julie鈥檚 dedication to the team and eagerness to help out, whenever she can, make her an incredible teammate, coworker, and friend.
Joe鈥檚 team and nominator, Kacie Leblanc, talk about how he works hard and steps up to the plate to be sure our team at MG can deliver for our customers and other team members. Even if it falls outside his job description, Joe will take on additional tasks to help the team meet deadlines. He makes an effort to learn more about our company and recognizes the connection between what he does every day and achieving our purpose and company goals.

Her nominators, Vickie Glen and Robert Anderson, say that she is vital to the success of Mid-State and instrumental in taking care of our teams and customers. She leads by example and is always ready to step in if her teammates need her support. Courtnie, Project Support Specialist at Beta, joined the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family earlier this year, and from day one she has been a passionate advocate for the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family. With an eye for continuous improvement, she is not afraid to question 鈥渨hy鈥 and look for innovative ways to solve a problem or reach a goal.
